A Shameless Plug

I find the phenomenon of every mother being convinced that her child is beautiful absolutely fascinating.

I realize my daughter isn't any prettier or cuter than anyone else's, but I think she is. This "mommy blindness" is all amazing and I'm in awe of it every time I experience it...which is pretty often.

Take Sunday morning, for example. I had ordered a dress from ZULILY, and I was taken aback when I put it on her. (Btw, if you aren't on zulily, let me know so I can invite you. It's a great place to get boutique clothes for you and your children at a great price! Plus, I get a $15 credit if I invite you and then you order something!) She looked so darn cute! I know it's mommy blindness, but I had to take some photos and share them.

The skirt was so twirly. The bow was so big. The girl was so sassy.

It made for a nice photo opportunity.

And it reminded me of the time she said (rather indignantly, too), "I no wook wike a princess, I wook wike an ewf!" (Translation: I no look like a princess, I look like an elf!)

Melt my heart.

* New recipe for Italian Beef Stew over at EATING AT THE TAJ MCCALL! I guess, technically, that's three shameless plugs.  Please forgive me. :)

I have to agree. No little girl comes close to that cuteness! "Lola" has a challenge.
