Tall Tale
We were driving around today and Phoebe was fussing a bit. Since she doesn't tend to do that, I asked Eli what was wrong with her. I expected him to say her bow was over her eyes, she'd dropped her bottle, etc. He said, "A giant, scary squirrel jumped on her window and scared her and it made her cry." Ummm, thanks, Eli. I guess he felt like our life was a little too mundane.

Hey there,
Giant, scary squirrels and prairie fires, and who knows what else. I can't believe my precious little grandchildren are being raised in such a rough and rugged place. I think they need to come visit Nena and grandaddy.
love you, see you soon

What a great story. I could hear hose words coming out of Douglas' mouth, too. What imaginitive boys!

Who knows what kind of wild animals you have out in Amarillo? I believe him. I agree with Dad. Glenn Heights is much safer!
Love you all!

Amarillo sounds very scary, what with all the mutant animals and out of control fires. I don't want to hear any more comments about Minnesotans living in the wild! The worst I've ever had to endure there was an infestation of lady bugs.
Take that baby to a mall and keep her away from all that scary outdoor stuff!
Love you!
Sarah
So funny! :) Love Eli stories so much, they make my day.
