Are You Ready For Some Football?
In answer to that question, no, I am not. I'm not much of a "sports fan." In fact, I don't really enjoy them at all. Unfortunately, the boys in my house are huge sports fans...all kinds! Since football season just started we are all about football. Brad is in a Fantasy Football League. (I heard a quote the other morning on the radio that Fantasy Football is the Dungeons and Dragons for football fans. So true!) That means that not only does he watch his favorite team, Dallas Cowboys, he has to watch all these other teams to keep up with his Fantasy Football Team. And he has to have a computer nearby to keep track of I'm not sure what. It's all very confusing and boring to me. This year, Eli is getting into the act. He watched the games with Brad the last few times they were on. Then he decided that he and Brad needed to go play their own game of football in the yard. Here are some pictures of that riveting game.

But he is the boy who will watch the food network channel and likes to help make breakfast (but maybe that is only for the biscuit dough!!!!)

I'm trying to picture my kids in a few years when they are a little older looking back on their childhood...Dad, wrestled with them...played hide and seek...mom, she liked to read to us, play crafts and "nuggle". I hear ya!!!

I thank my lucky stars that my hubby only likes to watch college basketball, and mainly just the Kentucky wildcats. I grew up with men who watched every sport, all the time. Sorry, sista! But it is kinda cute, with the male bonding and all.
well... maybe you might want to pass on the invitations to all the ball games this weekend. But I've learned that you can do lots of talking at football games... it's all about the atmosphere! Call if you wanna go with us! Maybe WANT is the wrong word but you know what i mean!
